What this website does not do
- It has no customer accounts or passwords.
- It takes no payments.
- It does not keep your name, phone number or messages on any server of ours.
Quote requests and WhatsApp messages
When you use the quote form, "Buy on WhatsApp" or the email button, the website only prepares a message on your own phone or computer: it opens WhatsApp or your email app with the text filled in (your name, phone number, the products and anything else you typed). We receive it only if you press Send there. From then on it is handled like any other WhatsApp chat or email you send us, and we use it to answer your enquiry.
While you fill in the quote form, a draft is kept in your browser for that visit only, so it isn't lost if the page reloads.
Saved in your browser
Your quote list, your compare list and your language choice are saved in your own browser, so they are still there next time. They are not sent to us. You can remove an item with the × next to it, or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Reading a photo of your list
If you add a photo of a parts list on the quote page, the text is read inside your browser; the photo is not uploaded to us. To do this, the page downloads its reading tools from jsDelivr and projectnaptha.com.
Other services this website uses
- Netlify hosts the website. Like every web host, it handles technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages.
- Google Fonts provides the lettering on the pages.
- Google Maps shows our location on the homepage and the Contact page. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies, under Google's own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you choose to send us.
Visitor statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages and products are viewed, what is searched for and which buttons are pressed (for example a WhatsApp button). It sets cookies and receives your IP address, under Google's privacy policy. It does not receive your name, phone number or the messages you send us.
Questions
